Diet
An Amstaff puppy should be fed three to four times a day.

American Staffordshire

Breakfast
Two - three weetbix with calcium, egg, honey/vegemite combined with milk.
(calcium 1/2 level teaspoon increasing to 1 level teaspoon until 6 months of age. Eggs no more than twice a week.)

Lunch
Dry dog food and sometimes raw meat (never feed offal.) Most varieties are acceptable, but i do love Supercoat puppy to start me off at first. My breeders will give you a bag of this to take home with me. As a treat you may give me 4 - 6 chicken necks minced or chopped (which have been de-boned). I don't mind the odd Shmacko as well.

Dinner
For Dinner please feed me Pedigree Puppy tins, mixed with a little handful of Supercoat Puppy, which has been supplied to you. This meal can be altered by slowly weaning me onto other brands or raw meat with dry food. (never change my diet abruptly as this could make me sick).

Supper
Not necessary every day, but i do love a little warm milk mixed with some honey, and sometimes an egg.
Quantities are hard to estimate and vary with each pup and how quickly they grow.
Please keep me feeling full with my ribs well covered but without a big bulging tummy.
We can get "Bloat" so you should feed an adult dog after a walk (never exercise them on a full stomach). We are big water drinkers, so please make sure plenty of fresh water is available.
A sprinkle of calcium over raw meat will do me good.
